2019 Challenges

Approximately 400 teachers in training participated in a Poverty Challenge from 11:30 to 3:30 on January 28 at Duncan McArthur Hall. This number is smaller than in previous Challenges because the B.Ed. program now has two cohorts in a two year program.

This event helped teacher candidates understand the realities of urban poverty for many of their future students and received excellent evaluations.
